DERMATOLOGY

In  autumn  2000  vet  Clive  Bourne  achieved  the  Certificate  in  Veterinary  Dermatology  qualification  from  the  Royal  College  of  Veterinary  Surgeons,  after  a  number  of  years  of  study,  attendance  at  British  Veterinary  Dermatology  Study  Group  meetings,  and  written  and  practical  examinations.  He  is  the  only  vet  in  North  Wales  to  hold  this  qualification.

A  full  dermatology  consultation  involves  taking  a  full  history  of  the  case  and  a  thorough  examination.  All  this  takes  45-60  minutes  so  a  special  appointment  needs  to  be  made  outside  normal  surgery  times.
